A study byCalifornia Polytechnic State University and Utah State Universityhas shown that being in a natural environment, surrounded by natural sounds such as birdsong, can enhance feelings ofwell-beingandpromote and improve mental health. The results of the study showed that listening to the sound of small birds chirping in a natural environment for just7 to 10minutesbrought a sense of biodiversity and had a positive impact on peoplesmental health and psychologicalrecovery as well as on the generation and enhancement of well-being.
